Your Host

Raised in Botswana, hosting you through it

I grew up in Botswana, where my understanding of the bush was shaped long before I ever thought about hosting safaris.

It wasn’t something separate from daily life. It was simply the environment I moved through. Learning came naturally, through time spent outside, observing, listening, and being present.

Chanoga, where my family built their home, sits quietly along the river. It was never a destination, but it was always the centre of everything.

That connection to place has never left. Even after time away, it remained constant, drawing me back to the landscapes that shaped how I see the world.

Experience & Perspective

My connection to Botswana is shaped through lived experience, developed over time through both upbringing and continued time spent in the bush.

More recently, that foundation has been supported through formal training, including certification through the African Guide Academy and BQA.

While expert local guides lead the day-to-day safari activities, my role is to bring continuity to the experience. To connect each part of the journey back to place, and to ensure that it feels cohesive from beginning to end.

Working alongside experienced guides within each region allows the experience to remain both deeply local and consistently hosted throughout.

How I Host

Hosting a safari is not about leading every moment. It is about shaping the journey as a whole.

Each journey is built around a small number of guests, allowing for a more considered and personal way of travelling. While local guides lead daily activities, my role is to bring continuity across the entire journey.

That means understanding when to step in and when to step back. Creating space for the experience to unfold naturally, while ensuring that everything feels aligned.

It also means sharing perspective. Drawing from a lifelong connection to Botswana to add context and depth to what is being experienced.

The aim is not to control the journey, but to hold it together. To ensure that it feels seamless, unhurried, and genuinely meaningful.

A Shared Experience

Every journey is shaped as much by the people on it as the place itself.

Small groups allow for a more personal experience. One where there is space to connect, to adapt, and to let each journey take on its own character.

Being able to speak Setswana and move comfortably between cultures adds another layer to that experience. It allows for a deeper connection to the places and people that form part of the journey.

What I aim to create is an experience that feels considered, natural, and genuinely memorable.
